In the heart of Stockholm, inside the iconic City Hall, lies Stadshuskällaren – a restaurant where Swedish culinary heritage meets contemporary craftsmanship. Our philosophy is simple: to bring the best of nature into the city. Guided by the seasons, we let forests, lakes, meadows, and fields inspire our menus – from freshly picked asparagus in spring to the year’s first chanterelles in autumn.

In our dining room, we serve modern Swedish cuisine with carefully selected ingredients and a respect for balance and sustainability. Smaller parties can enjoy our seasonal set menu, while larger gatherings are treated to banquets for up to 100 seated guests. And for those seeking something truly special, our Chef’s Table offers an intimate tasting experience for two.

At Stadshuskällaren, history also comes alive. Here you can enjoy any Nobel Banquet menu from 1901 onwards – a rare chance to dine like laureates past, in the very building where the Nobel festivities take place.

Next to the dining room, our wine bar offers a more relaxed atmosphere, with a curated selection of wines by the glass and a bistro-inspired menu designed for sharing – all guided by the same ethos: From the forest to the city.
